The candidate should be dependable, patient, safety-conscious, and comfortable interacting with seniors, with flexible availability including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Experience in transportation, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
• Compassionate, resident-focused attitude and safety-first approach.
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable attendance and strong time-management abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to appointments and activities.

Position Summary

The Driver / Transportation Assistant is responsible for safely transporting residents to appointments, outings, activities, and scheduled destinations while providing excellent customer service and compassionate support throughout the transportation experience.

This role also supports resident engagement by building positive relationships and assisting residents safely in and out of vehicles and throughout community activities.

The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, safety-conscious, and enjoys interacting with seniors.

Essential Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and activities




• Assist residents in and out of vehicles safely and respectfully




• Ensure resident comfort and safety during transportation




• Follow all local, state, and company driving regulations and safety procedures




• Maintain cleanliness and organization of transportation vehicles




• Build positive relationships with residents and families




• Communicate effectively with community leadership and team members




• Participate in required meetings, training, and community events




• Support resident activities and engagement as needed




• Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service at all times

Qualifications

• Previous transportation, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
