The role also supports resident engagement by building positive relationships and assisting residents safely in and out of vehicles and throughout community activities. The ideal candidate is patient, safety-conscious, and enjoys interacting with seniors.

Position Summary

The Driver / Transportation Assistant is responsible for safely transporting residents to appointments, outings, activities, and scheduled destinations while providing excellent customer service and compassionate support throughout the transportation experience.

This role also supports resident engagement by building positive relationships and assisting residents safely in and out of vehicles and throughout community activities.

• Safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and activities
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles safely and respectfully

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Previous transportation, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Compassionate and resident-focused attitudeAbility to safely assist residents with mobility needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable attendance and strong time management skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
