Job summary

TFI Family Services, Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking a Transport Support Worker to support children and families in the child welfare system.

The role centers on providing transportation and visitation support with a strong emphasis on safety and advocacy. You will work weekends and some evenings, coordinate with Permanency Services partners, attend staff meetings and trainings, and help connect families to resources.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Flexibility and punctuality for evening/weekend hours.
• Experience in child and family services preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

A Day in the Life as a Transport Support Worker

As a Transport Support Worker, you will provide transportation and visitation support for children and families involved in the child welfare system. You’ll play a critical role in promoting the well-being of children, participate in staff meetings and trainings, and coordinate with other agencies providing Permanency Services.

You'll work to build healthy, long-lasting relationships by connecting families to resources that improve their lives. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) are a must, as well as flexibility, punctuality, and a commitment to advocacy for children and their families. Evening availability is required for at least one day a week.
