Job summary

Arvato seeks a Project Manager for Transportation to oversee the full transport process chain from onboarding carriers to client implementations. You will collaborate with carriers, clients, IT, and account management to ensure smooth integration and issue resolution.

Responsibilities include transforming requirements into IT-ready packages, optimizing processes, and maintaining high service quality through standardized PM practices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP WMS and TM modules is required.
• Experience with carrier requirements (LTL, FTL, Small Parcel) and domestic & international shipping.
• Minimum of two years in transport or logistics and knowledge of TMS systems.
• High IT affinity and familiarity with IT-supported transport solutions.
• Proactive, self-motivated with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Independently implement transport-related projects within Arvato.
• Lead implementation of new customers and carriers in SAP-TM with IT.
• Translate customer and carrier requests into working packages for IT.
• Analyze and optimize transport processes to deliver best solutions.
• Develop and standardize project management processes for higher service quality.
• Support validation and creation of shipping documents (BOL, Labels).
• Act as interface and first contact for carriers, IT, accounts during implementation.
• Foster teamwork and trust across Arvato and customers.
