Job summary
Vivid Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Transport Planner for a London-based role with hybrid and flexible working. You will develop your consultancy experience on a varied portfolio of developments across London and the UK, coordinating with highways and planning teams while delivering high-quality transport solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field and experience in TA/TS/Travel Plans, with strong analytical and report-writing skills and a proactive, client-facing
Qualifications
- Experience preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements or Travel Plans.
- Understanding UK transport planning principles and policy.
- Experience with junction capacity modelling or transport modelling software.
- Strong analytical, report-writing and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare TA, TS and Travel Plans for development proposals.
- Carry out transport and traffic analyses to support schemes.
- Perform junction capacity assessments with modelling tools.
- Support traffic modelling and feasibility studies.
- Produce technical reports and planning documentation.
- Liaise with authorities, clients and project stakeholders.
- Support projects from inception through to completion.
- Collaborate with highways, planning and multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to innovative and sustainable transport solutions.
