E.H. Wolf & Sons in the United States Wisconsin is seeking a Transport Operations Manager to lead the transportation team and drive operational success. This role will oversee Drivers and Dispatchers, optimize routes and schedules, and ensure safety and DOT compliance.

You will monitor performance, support recruiting and training, and partner with leadership to deliver safe, efficient, and profitable operations within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of transportation, logistics, dispatch, or related operations experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of transportation operations and DOT regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation-related software systems.
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Drivers and Dispatchers.
• Oversee daily fuel transportation and delivery operations.
• Optimize routes, schedules, and equipment utilization.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training efforts.
• Resolve transportation and customer service issues.
• Visit driver locations and maintain relationships with transportation employees.
• Participate in transport on-call rotation and provide backup dispatch support as needed.
• Partner with leadership to drive safe, efficient, and profitable operations.
