Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring a Transport Driver Class A to deliver products from distribution centers and bakeries to sales centers. The role offers $36.20 per hour, home daily, full benefits, holidays and paid time off, with most routes on a 4/10 work week.

You must be at least 21 years old, have one year of tractor-trailer experience (including doubles), a clean MVR, and pass the DOT Physical and Road Test. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• One year of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• MVR clean with no accidents or points in the last year.
• Must pass DOT Physical and DOT Road Test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products from distribution centers to sales centers.
• Unload product and reload trailers with empty equipment when required.
• Operate powered material handling equipment safely.

What you can expect:

• Delivery of products from distribution center and bakeries to sales centers.
• May be required to unload product and reload trailers with empty equipment.
• Utilize powered material handling equipment in a safe manner.

What we need from you:

• 21 years of age or older.
• This position requires one (1) year experience driving tractor-trailers including doubles, no accidents or points in last year, clean Class A, M.V.R. with no restrictions. Pass DOT Physical and DOT Road Test. Successfully able to obtain Chauffer License (If job location is in IN, MI, TN). High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Maintain records required by the company and the FMCSR.
• Consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations, the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
