Transport Associate - Allegheny General Hospital - Part Time

Job Overview: Transports patients, medical records, mail, specimens, and equipment/materials throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Transport inpatients and outpatients within the facility from initial start location to the destination location (70%).
• Deliver equipment, materials, and specimens to requesting departments, including the use of the pneumatic tube system (20%).
• Serve as a hospital ambassador, providing information and directions to patients and visitors (5%).
• Ensure transportation equipment is kept clean and in good working order (5%).
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
