Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Nurse Assistant for the Transplant, Hepatobiliary and Vascular Surgery Unit. You will work under RN supervision to deliver compassionate patient care, support safety, and assist in planning individualized care for transplant and vascular patients.

The role emphasizes collaboration with an interprofessional team, ongoing learning, and adherence to safety protocols. Eligible candidates may have NA/MA training and a desire to advance clinical skills in a high-acuity

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Must complete an NA/PCT/PAT or Medical Assistant program.
At least 1 year of NA/PCT/PAT experience.
May be enrolled in a nursing program or foreign trained RN relocating to the US.

Responsibilities

Perform essential patient care duties that support safety, comfort, and dignity.
Partner with RNs to plan and implement individualized patient care strategies.
Respond promptly and effectively to emergent situations following established protocols.
Contribute valuable insights to enhance the overall patient care experience.
