Job summary

The University of Illinois System's Department of Surgery seeks a full‑time Transplant Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to provide the full breadth of transplant services. This role will deliver patient care, contribute to teaching, and engage in clinical research.

Responsibilities include patient care, teaching medical students, residents and fellows, performing administrative duties, and participating in special projects as assigned, with emphasis on robotic techniques in

Qualifications

• MD degree or foreign equivalent.
• Surgical residency training completed.
• Board certification in Surgery or eligible.
• Illinois medical license or eligibility; ASTS certified.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and treatment in transplant surgery.
• Assist with teaching medical students, residents and fellows.
• Participate in clinical research.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned.
