Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville seeks an experienced RN to apply the nursing process for patients requiring transplant-related care. You will educate patients and families and coordinate care across the continuum, collaborating with the health care team to set goals and monitor progress.

The role includes three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (36 hours weekly), with a night shift differential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• TN license or compact license with TN address within 60 days.
• Nursing degree and eligibility for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates care delivery across the continuum.
• Analyzes patient information to determine nursing diagnoses and required interventions.
• Evaluates progress toward goals and maintains a safe, healthy environment; supports ongoing professional growth.
