Job summary

Providence Swedish in Seattle is seeking a Social Worker to conduct psychosocial assessments for living donors and provide emotional support and concrete services for transplant patients and families. You will join the Organ Transplant team across inpatient and outpatient settings, contributing to pre- and post‑transplant care within a patient‑centered culture.

Required qualifications include a MSW and Washington clinical social work license; experience with chronic illness is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from an accredited school.
• Must obtain Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Associate license upon hire.
• Experience with chronic illness and disability-related psychosocial issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments for potential organ transplant living donors.
• Provide emotional support, financial referral, and concrete services to patients and families.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary organ transplant team in inpatient and outpatient settings throughout pre‑ and post‑transplant care.
