Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a social worker to conduct psychosocial assessments for living donors and provide emotional and financial support to patients and families. The role is based at Swedish First Hill, within the organ transplant team, across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Requires a Master's in Social Work and a WA Social Worker license; experience with chronic illness and disability is preferred. The position notes a $5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school.
• Upon hire: Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Associate License.
• Experience working with issues of chronic illness and disability

Responsibilities

• Conducts psychosocial assessment of potential organ transplant living donors.
• Provides emotional support, financial referral, and concrete services to Organ Transplant patients and their families.
• Works as an integral part of the multidisciplinary Organ Transplant team in the inpatient and outpatient settings, pre- and post-transplant.
