Job summary

UCI Health in Orange, CA seeks a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide psychosocial evaluation and treatment within the Transplant Department. You will advocate for patients, coordinate referrals to community services, and assist with discharge planning, ensuring adherence to department policies.

Reporting jointly to the Chief Clinical Social Worker and the Transplant Administrator, you will contribute to policy development and work with a multidisciplinary team to support transplant

Qualifications

• Interpret and implement hospital and regulatory standards (JCAHO, Health Dept., Child Abuse Registry).
• Demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Work within a complex health care system.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Hold a current Licensed Clinical Social Worker license (LCSW).
• Maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

Responsibilities
