Mission Health in Asheville, NC is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support Registered Nurses and help provide hands-on patient care in a safe, welcoming environment.

You will assist with vital signs, mobility, and personal care while helping RNs monitor conditions and carry out care plans. Your attention, empathy and teamwork help restore comfort and dignity for every patient you serve and make our mission to improve lives a reality each day.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• CNA certification in North Carolina required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort to support smooth care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keep patient areas clean, organized and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families and the care team to support safety and quality.
