Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with department standards and state regulations. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, compassionate care, following models such as 'Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.' You will advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying our vision, mission, and values to ensure excellent patient experiences and outcomes.

What you will do in this role:

  • Assess patient condition during admission and shifts, reporting changes.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, and documentation as ordered by providers.
  • Administer medications, monitor responses, and respond to adverse effects.
  • Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve issues.
  • Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and medications, translating complex information clearly.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • Current RN license in Texas or compact licensure.
  • Associate Degree required; BSN preferred, with 12 months enrollment and completion within 24 months of hire.
  • Minimum one year RN experience in a high-acuity PCU or critical care unit.
