Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) is expanding its Abdominal Transplant Pharmacy Services and seeks a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to support inpatient and ambulatory care across transplant service lines. The role leads immunosuppressive management, provides education, and helps develop transplant protocols in both settings.

The specialist will precept residents, mentor staff, and participate in quality improvement and research with transplant teams including surgery, nephrology and hepatology.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required; PharmD preferred.
• Massachusetts Pharmacist license required.
• 1–3 years related work experience.
• 1 year residency or 3 years hospital clinical pharmacy experience.
• Experience with computer systems including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead immunosuppressive management and discuss opportunistic infections on rounds.
• Provide transplant-specific education to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Develop and maintain transplant protocols, guidelines, and clinical pathways.
• Participate in quality improvement, research, and teaching activities.
• Precept PGY1/PGY2 residents and mentor pharmacy learners.
