Allegheny Health Network is seeking a pharmacist skilled in transplant pharmacotherapy to optimize patient care, review prescriptions, and provide drug information. The role includes supervising technicians, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with the transplant team on care plans.

The successful candidate will hold a PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy and be licensed in Pennsylvania or eligible to obtain licensure within 120 days, with 1–3 years of transplant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in PA or eligibility to obtain licensure within 120 days.
• Knowledge of transplant pharmacotherapy and clinical drug therapy monitoring.
• Ability to supervise pharmacy staff and work with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilités

• Process prescriptions and perform prospective drug reviews to ensure safe, effective and cost-efficient therapies.
• Provide drug information to health professionals and patients; document interventions.
• Assist in department management, supervise technicians and students, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with transplant team on education, discharge planning and care plans.
• Support safety and performance improvement initiatives within the department.
