Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in PA and/or NY within 120 days
• Hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions, conduct prospective drug review and ensure safe, cost-effective therapy.
• Provide accurate drug information to health professionals and patients and document interventions.
• Supervise and train technicians and students; manage inventory and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and support performance improvement and safety initiatives.
• May serve as Night Pharmacist, triaging nightly activities and resolving medication problems.
