Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program.
• Certified in Basic Life Support; NBSTSA or NCCT certification required.
• 2+ years of surgical tech experience; transplant abdominal or vascular experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent perioperative patient care as scrub assistant under the surgeon.
• Assist during operative and invasive procedures and ensure asepsis.
• Verify supplies and equipment, manage readiness and case flow.
• Adhere to Memorial Hermann policies and safety standards.
• Act as a preceptor/mentor to less experienced staff.
