Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care across the continuum. The RN will practice within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, leadership in precepting staff, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• RN with bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher.
• At least one year of Operating Room experience.
• Current RN license and BLS certification.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient/family education.
• Lead transitions of care and collaborate with the care team.
• Provide direct patient care and participate in quality improvement.
• Mentor junior staff and participate in committees as needed.
