Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Transplant Coordinator Nurse to oversee coordination of transplant care. This role collaborates with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement care across the continuum.

A strong emphasis on education, leadership, and adherence to ANA/UNOS/FACT guidelines is required. Eligibility includes state RN licensure and flexible scheduling; sponsorship and OPT considerations are noted.

Qualifications

• RN license by applicable state requirements.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience; 3 years preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to unpredictable patient-care situations.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and interpersonal effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of care for the transplant patient population.
• Assess and plan with patient, caregiver, and multidisciplinary team to meet needs across care continuum.
• Provide patient and family education on a consistent basis.
• Lead through activities such as community involvement, committee work, and quality improvement.
