Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Transplant Nurse Coordinator to support autologous and allogeneic transplant processes. The role includes coordinating tests, exams, and consults, communicating with referring physicians, and educating patients and families about the transplant journey.

Qualifications

• RN license to practice in New York.
• Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of one year of full-time transplant/ cellular therapy/ oncology nursing experience, or an Associate degree with three years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate/autologous and allogeneic transplants with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Serve as primary contact between BMT program, patients, donors, NMDP, and support services.
• Educate patients and families about transplant process, HLA typing, donor selection and long-term follow-up.
