Atrium Health – Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Transplant Nephrologist to join a comprehensive kidney transplant program, serving as a core member of the leadership and clinical care team. The role supports both pre- and post-transplant care and program growth, with options for administrative or clinical tracks.

Formación

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible in Nephrology.
• Completion of an ASTaccredited Transplant Nephrology Fellowship (or equivalent).
• Eligible for full and unrestricted medical licensure in North Carolina.
• Experience in kidney transplant care and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance in a transplant program.
• Interest in program development, education, and clinical protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Provide outpatient transplant nephrology care across pre- and post-transplant continuum with focus on post-transplant management.
• Build and expand a multidisciplinary post kidney transplant clinic with care model design and workflows.
• Participate in quality oversight, outcomes monitoring, and regulatory readiness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary transplant team including surgeons, APPs, pharmacists, nurses, social work, and leadership.
• Participate in kidney transplant selection meetings and program leadership discussions.
• Limited participation in inpatient transplant nephrology coverage as needed to support continuity of care.
• Contribute to program development and education initiatives.
