The role involves caring for patients with complex liver, kidney and pancreas issues, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and well-being.

Candidates must have a degree in nursing (BSN or ADN), BLS certification, and an Illinois Nursing license.

Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited school of nursing is required (BSN or ADN).
• BLS Certification by the American Heart Association is required prior to hire.
• Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the 32-bed inpatient unit focused on abdomen transplant, hepatology, and related services.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, therapists and case management to implement individualized care plans.
