Job summary

Northwestern Medicine in Illinois seeks a professional Clinical Nurse on a 36-hour weekly schedule focused on high-acuity hepatology and transplant patients. The role includes 3 night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am in a Liver/Kidney/Pancreas transplant-involved unit.

The RN will provide evidence-based nursing care and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes in a complex transplant environment.

Qualifications

• NLN-accredited nursing program graduate required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher required.
• Active RN license in Illinois.
• BLS CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
• Analytic ability (conceptual and quantitative).
• Oral, listening and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration in challenging situations.
• Keyboard/data entry proficiency.
