Job summary

Banner Health's Division of Infectious Diseases in Phoenix seeks an additional faculty member to support the strategic expansion of transplant services at Banner University Medical Center.

The role blends clinical care, program development, teaching, quality improvement and research, with opportunities to educate students, residents and fellows annually and to shape a strong transplant ID agenda.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board certified/eligible in Infectious Disease & Transplant Infectious Disease.
• At least 3 years Transplant ID practice experience.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the growing transplant ID program under the transplant ID Medical Director.
• Assist inpatient consultations and outpatient encounters of transplant patients.
• Help select patients suitable for transplant in committee meetings.
• Assist with creating protocols for standardizing care of transplant patients.
