Board certification/eligibility in Infectious Disease and Transplant Infectious Disease.
At least 3 years Transplant ID practice experience.
Licensed or eligible for licensure in Arizona.

Responsibilities

Participate in the growing transplant ID program, as directed by the transplant ID Medical Director.
Assist with inpatient consultations and outpatient encounters of transplant patients.
Help with the selection of patients suitable and ready for transplant in committee meetings.
Assist the transplant program with creating protocols for standardizing care of transplant patients.
Establish quality improvement projects in transplant ID, in conjunction with activities of the DOM quality committee.
Create a research agenda for transplant ID.
Design clinical research studies that focus on immunocompromised patients.
Educate students, residents and the upcoming first fellows in transplant ID annually.
