Job summary

The Transplant Financial Coordinator provides analysis, validation, regulatory and compliance activities for financial aspects of care for adult and pediatric transplant candidates, donors, and families. Responsibilities include financial clearance reviews, benefits analysis, patient liability assessment, and liaison between patients, the transplant center, and insurance payors.

The role requires use of Epic and Excel, knowledge of CMS coverage rules and transplant billing practices, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years healthcare experience.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Epic and Excel; familiarity with CMS rules and transplant billing.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial clearance review and benefits analysis for transplant candidates and donors.
• Coordinate financial aspects of care and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Serve as liaison between patients, transplant center and insurance payors.
• Ensure accurate billing and reimbursement per contracts and regulations.
