You will liaise between patients, insurers, and the transplant team.

You will verify insurance, obtain pre-authorizations, counsel patients financially, and assist with aid applications, collaborating with payers to streamline processes and reduce financial barriers

Qualifications

• 5+ years in outpatient group medical practice or inpatient acute care with admin responsibilities.
• Knowledge of ESRD financial and regulatory guidelines (federal/state).
• Strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving abilities; effective communication.
• Proficiency in software applications used in medical billing.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance and secure pre-authorizations.
• Counsel patients financially and assist with aid applications.
• Serve as liaison between patients, insurers, and transplant team.
• Collaborate with transplant team and payers to streamline processes and resolve issues.
• Navigate benefit plans and secure approvals for transplant candidates.
