Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Transplant Coordinator RN in Tucson, AZ, to lead patient evaluations and care across the transplant continuum. You will coordinate waitlist activities with a multidisciplinary team, using Cerner Powerchart, OTTR, and Teams, while balancing urgency and accuracy in patient care.

The role requires an active RN license in the state, BLS, and at least two years of clinical nursing experience with transplant knowledge. Remote work may be available when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Requires current RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience in acute care settings (ICU/PCU/CM/OR/ED).
• Transplant experience and CCTC certification are highly valued.
• Ability to manage comprehensive patient evaluations and coordinate care in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre- and post-transplant evaluations and care across the transplant continuum.
• Facilitate waitlist coordination through the national registry and communicate with patients and families.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nephrologists, pharmacists, dietitians and social workers to implement care plans.
• Ensure compliance with OPTN/UNOS regulations and payer contracts; educate patients about the transplant process.
