Academic Medical Group Inc is seeking a Transplant Coordinator for the Transplant Kidney Program in Tampa. The RN will coordinate care for solid organ transplant candidates, recipients, and living donors across the full continuum, including referral, evaluation, listing, waitlist management, organ offer readiness, and post‑transplant follow‑up.

The role emphasizes patient/family‑centered care, interdisciplinary communication, and regulatory compliance (CMS, OPTN/UNOS) with accurate EMR/UNet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience in transplant/critical care/perioperative/ED.
• ABTC certification (CCTC/CCTN) obtained within 12–18 months of eligibility per organizational expectation and ABTC eligibility pathways.
• Current BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required based on program assignment and on‑call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for solid organ transplant candidates, recipients, and living donors across referral, evaluation, listing, waitlist management, and organ offer readiness.
• Manage transplant event coordination, post‑transplant follow‑up, and long‑term survivorship.
• Ensure CMS/OPTN/UNOS regulatory compliance and accurate EMR/UNet documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide patient/family‑centered education.
