Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or relevant subspecialty (e.g., Nephrology, Hepatology, Infectious Diseases).
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Colorado.
• At least 5 years of clinical transplant-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership: develop and execute clinical and translational research strategy for the Transplant Center.
• Oversee a $25 million five-year research investment and reporting.
• Lead Transplant Infectious Diseases operations, program development, and multidisciplinary care delivery.
• Mentor and develop faculty across Transplant Medicine, Transplant Surgery, and Infectious Diseases.
• Direct and optimize research infrastructure, personnel, and processes.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration to advance transplant research and outcomes.
• Support faculty recruitment and track development for excellence in infectious diseases leadership.
• Advance extramural funding, publications, and national presentations.
• Maintain clinical practice in transplant infectious diseases while educating learners.
