Hartford HealthCare's Hartford Hospital is seeking a Nurse Manager - Transplant Administration to provide clinical and operational leadership for the outpatient Transplant Department, ensuring delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

This full-time day-shift role requires collaboration, continuous improvement, and coordination across pre- and post-transplant services, with a focus on staff development and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Health Administration or related preferred.
• Five+ years of progressive nursing leadership experience in ambulatory/outpatient settings preferred.
• Current Connecticut Registered Nurse license required.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of the outpatient transplant clinic.
• Coordinate pre-transplant evaluation and post-transplant follow-up workflows.
• Monitor patient throughput, scheduling efficiency, and resource use.
• Develop standardized clinical workflows and processes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop nursing staff.
• Provide coaching and performance evaluations.
• Foster engagement and continuous learning.
• Address patient concerns with prompt service recovery.
