Houston Methodist is seeking a Pre-Transplant Coordinator, a registered nurse who will participate in the transplant referral, evaluation, waiting, and peri-operative phases. You will collaborate with an interprofessional team to ensure safe, compassionate, and high-quality care for pre-transplant patients.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, 4 years of nursing experience or 3 years in Oncology/BMT, and current RN licensure in Texas; prior transplant ICU experience is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Four years nursing experience or three years’ Oncology/BMT-specific experience for area of specialty.
• Previous transplant acute care and/or ICU experience preferred.
• RN licensure and Texas licensure requirements must be met within 60 days.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and manage the transplant referral, evaluation, waiting, and peri-operative phases.
• Communicate with patients, families, and interprofessional team to ensure care continuity.
• Monitor and document patient status and adherence to transplant policies, regulations, and safety standards.
