Job summary

K&A Power Group in Florence, SC or Aberdeen, NC is seeking a highly motivated Work Management Planner III to join our transmission construction team. You will develop comprehensive work plans, coordinate with construction crews, and ensure safe, efficient project execution across capital programs.

The role requires field work, strong knowledge of substations and transmission operations, and experience with Maximo or Primavera P6. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related utility, construction, maintenance, or transmission planning experience.
• Strong knowledge of transmission substations, electrical apparatus, protective relaying systems, transmission line construction and maintenance, and work planning processes.
• Experience using work management and scheduling systems such as Maximo, Passport, Primavera P6, MS Project, SLATE, TITUS, ITOA, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive work plans and schedules for transmission projects.
• Coordinate resources, permits, and materials for on-site execution.
• Collaborate with Construction, Project Management, and Operations to ensure safe, efficient execution.
• Produce and maintain detailed work packages for annual capital programs.
• Travel to project locations to scoping, pre-con meetings, and site walks.
