Job summary

K&A Power Group is seeking a highly motivated Work Management Planner III to join our Florence, SC or Aberdeen, NC team. The role focuses on transmission construction planning for substation assets, collaborating with multiple groups to develop work plans for capital programs of up to $300M.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related utility experience, with strong knowledge of substations, transmission lines, and work management processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 6+ years of related utility, construction, maintenance, or transmission planning experience
• Strong knowledge of transmission substations, electrical apparatus, protective relaying systems, transmission line construction and maintenance, and work management processes

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive work plans for transmission construction and maintenance projects
• Coordinate resources, schedules, and permits with various stakeholders
• Prepare detailed work packages and estimates for annual capital programs ranging up to $300M
• Ensure safety, compliance, and execution readiness across projects
