Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Indiana is seeking a Transmission Test Stand Operator to prepare transmissions for testing. Responsibilities include positioning the transmission with a hoist, connecting lines and hoses, and entering a test tag to load the Dyno Test per unit.

You will monitor the computer-generated test reports and ensure safe operation throughout the process. This hands-on role offers a starting wage of $20.00 per hour, with opportunities for wage increases through performance

Qualifications

• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Stand/walk entire shift (8–10 hours).
• Operate hoists and connect lines/hoses.
• Read computer-generated Dyno test reports.

Job Description:Crawford – Transmission Test Stand OperatorJob Overview: This position requires Associates to prepare the transmission for a test run that matches the specific transmission type. The Associate will position the transmission in place utilizing a hoist and connecting lines/hoses and transmission to the test stand fixture. The tag # will then be entered into the computer to bring up Dyno Test – Per Units.
