Job summary

H+H Chevy is seeking an Automotive Service Technician specialized in transmissions at our Papillion, NE location. The role focuses on diagnosing, rebuilding, and repairing transmissions, using diagnostic tools and inspecting results to ensure optimal vehicle performance.

The ideal candidate will have GM dealership experience or equivalent, strong knowledge of transmission systems, and the ability to work with a fast-paced team while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

2+ years’ experience in a GM Dealership preferred.
Skilled in Transmission Repair.
Strong knowledge of automatic and manual transmission systems.
Proficient with diagnostic equipment and repair tools.

Responsibilities

Repair damaged or malfunctioning vehicles specific to transmission repair using diagnostic tools and inspections.
Remove, disassemble, inspect, repair, or rebuild transmissions as needed.
Reinstall transmissions and ensure proper operation and vehicle performance.
Perform fluid and filter changes, transmission flushes, and software updates.
Frequently use hand tools and power tools.
