Job summary

Heritage Ford of Indiana is seeking a Certified Ford Transmission Technician to join our team in Corydon, IN. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain Ford transmissions, following factory guidelines and ensuring quality workmanship.

We offer a signing bonus up to $1,500, competitive hourly pay from $32 to $42 depending on experience, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Certified Ford Transmission Technician.
• Strong knowledge of Ford vehicle systems.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and computer systems.
• Good communication and writing/typing skills.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive repairs and maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot concerns/symptoms.
• Follow factory guidelines and specifications for repairs and service.
• Accurately document repair orders.
• Maintain a high level of workmanship.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Follow prescribed safety regulations.

Transmission Technician Responsibilities:

• Performing automotive repairs and maintenance
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting concerns/symptoms
• Following factory guidelines and specifications for repairs and service
• Accurately documenting repair orders
• Ensuring a high level of workmanship
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Follow prescribed safety regulations.

Transmission Technician Requirements:

• Certified Ford Transmission Technician
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Ford vehicle systems
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and computer systems
• Good communication and writing/typing skills required
• Strong teamwork skills

• Valid driver’s license free from major interactions required
