Job summary

Heritage Ford of Indiana is seeking a Diesel Technician to service the Southern Indiana/Louisville area, performing repairs and maintenance on Ford vehicles. You will follow factory guidelines, document repairs, and maintain high workmanship standards within a family-owned team.

Qualifications

• Certified Ford Diesel Technician.
• Strong knowledge of Ford vehicle systems.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and computer systems.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Strong teamwork abilities.
• Willing to pass drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver's license without major restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive repairs and maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot concerns/symptoms.

Diesel Technician Benefits

• Up to $1,500 Signing Bonus
• Competitive compensation range of $32 to $42 per hour (based on experience and work classification)

Diesel Technician Responsibilities

• Performing automotive repairs and maintenance
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting concerns/symptoms
• Following factory guidelines and specifications for repairs and service

• Ensuring a high level of workmanship
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Follow prescribed safety regulations.

Diesel Technician Requirements

• Certified Ford Diesel Technician
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Ford vehicle systems
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and computer systems
• Good communication and writing/typing skills required
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
• Valid driver's license free from major interactions required
