Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering student for a summer engineering analyst internship. You will support Standards projects by collaborating with Engineering staff and help with scope creation and knowledge transfer.

The role is hybrid and requires enrollment in an ABET-accredited program pursuing Electrical Engineering. You must be able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours/week) and part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours/week), with strong

Qualifications

• Current student, Sophomore or higher
• Enrolled in an ABET accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering
• Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week) and part time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week)
• Able to commute to the designated work location in-person, per the hybrid work policy
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
• Self-motivated, with good mechanical aptitude and ability to work well with others
• Course work in power delivery or project management and an interest in the power industry is preferred

Responsibilities

• Support Standards projects by working with Engineering staff
• Perform entry-level engineering analyst tasks across standards development, including scope creation, knowledge transfer from subject matter experts, project management, and document preparation
