Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Project Manager in our Program Management department to drive the initiation, planning, execution, control, and close-out of major electric transmission, distribution and substation projects.

The successful candidate will lead a multi-disciplinary team, navigate complex challenges, and ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining clear stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of electric utility transition, distribution and/or substation project management experience.
• PMP certification is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Develop clear status updates and reports.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and project tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic project management leadership for large and complex electric transmission, distribution and/or substation projects.
• Lead projects through all internal and external processes and navigate the project life cycle.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and cost.
• Lead project meetings and develop/update the project plan.
• Coordinate communication and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Assess project risk and develop mitigation plans.
• Ensure adequate resources and maintain working relationships.
