Weller Truck Parts is seeking a Manuals Rebuild Technician to rebuild, repair, inspect, and assemble manual transmissions and related components according to established standards. You will diagnose conditions, order parts, maintain production records, and ensure safety compliance.

This role emphasizes teamwork, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement to support customer satisfaction and efficient repair processes across our manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with automotive repairs or related experience preferred.
• Experience with SOPs/work instructions and quality systems preferred.
• Vocational/technical or trade school training in mechanical or industrial field is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, assemble, and process transmission components and castings per quality/production standards.
• Verify parts, cores, castings and related documentation for inventory control.
• Perform quality inspections and identify non-conforming materials, defects, and repair requirements.
• Coordinate with production, quality, machine shop and support teams to maintain workflow.
• Conduct routine inspections of tools, equipment, and work areas; report safety concerns or issues.
• Follow safety policies, 5S housekeeping, and quality standards.
• Participate in daily meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain regular attendance to support production schedules and customer requirements.

This role is responsible for diagnosing component conditions, utilizing technical resources, ordering parts, maintaining accurate production records, and ensuring compliance with safety requirements. pull materials and components in the performance of assigned duties.Ability to frequently lift and move materials, parts, and assemblies weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance.Ability to bend,
