Job summary

ETE REMAN, based in Milwaukee, WI, seeks a Transmission Inspector to ensure high-quality parts and subassemblies for production. You will build builder trays, inspect components to standards, and support daily line demands with efficient teamwork.

You will read detailed work instructions, operate within process controls, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while contributing to continuous improvement and core values.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to read and follow written instructions.
• Mechanical background or experience in a machine shop is preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for 8+ hours daily.
• Willing to get dirty and handle chemicals.
• Strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts and assemble builder trays to maintain one-piece flow.
• Process at least 2 units/trays per hour and assist others as needed.
• Ensure all parts are clean and in usable condition for production.
• Read and follow detailed assembly work instructions and procedures.
• Perform quality checks to verify correct parts and assemblies.
• Monitor the computer system, level units, and scan serial numbers.
• Follow ETE Reman’s safety rules and core values.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and report issues promptly.
• Train new personnel and contribute to process improvements.
