Job summary

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) seeks a Project Manager for our Phoenix, AZ office to lead a multi-engineer and drafter team on transmission line and foundation design projects.

You will coordinate quality control and deliverables, and develop budgets and schedules to ensure project success. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and decision-making abilities, with travel as needed and no visa sponsorship required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree not required but highly recommended.
• 2+ years experience managing transmission projects in a utility environment.
• Experience with voltages 69kV through 500kV.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• May be subject to client-mandated drug and background checks.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Visa sponsorship not required now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project team of engineers and drafters on transmission line projects.
• Provide quality control/quality assurance of drawings and deliverables.
• Prepare technical documents, project management reports, budgets, and schedules.
• Make engineering decisions to support project progress and success.
