Job summary

Wilson Construction Co. seeks a Transmission Assistant Project Manager to support utility transmission line construction projects across the Western U.S. This entry‑level role blends field and office work, with field office time and periodic visits to Canby, Oregon HQ.

You will assist project managers, prepare look‑aheads, RFIs, submittals, and schedule materials while maintaining spreadsheets. A bachelor’s in CM/PM/Engineering or equivalent, strong MS Office skills, and a drive for teamwork are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Project Managers and Schedulers with administrative tasks.
• Entering daily project status data.
• Preparing 3- and 5-day look-aheads.
• Preparing RFIs, transmittals/submittals.
• Scheduling materials and tracking deliveries.
• Assisting with approval of material invoices.
• Tracking and reporting equipment and vehicles in the right‑of‑way daily.
• Maintaining spreadsheets; providing overall project support for all departments.
• Delivering paperwork and performing other errands.
