Power Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Senior-level Transmission Planning Engineer. This position is posted in multiple POWER office locations with the ability to work remotely from a mutually acceptable location. The selected candidate may work remotely full-time at a non-office location and may travel to a POWER office for periodic meetings.
This role requires significant experience in network studies for utilities and ISOs, with leadership capabilities. Responsibilities include interfacing with engineers, preparing computer-based models, and performing power system studies such as feasibility, system impact, reactive compensation, stability, planning, short circuit, load flow, interconnection modeling, and power factor correction.
The engineer should have experience in proposal writing and customer contact to develop new opportunities. Strong self-management, communication, and organizational skills are essential, including the ability to explain complex technical issues to decision-makers and project teams.

Our salary range for this position is $125,000 - $180,000, based on experience, knowledge, and education. This range complies with state and local regulations and does not include additional compensation such as bonuses or benefits.
