Job summary

MEAG Power in Atlanta, GA seeks a Supervisor, Transmission Operations, Maintenance & Training to lead the O&M team responsible for transmission assets, including vegetation management, battery and relay maintenance, and associated MARs and invoices.

The role enforces safety and physical security, represents MEAG Power on ITS committees, manages an operating budget around $28M with a $1M admin budget, and reports to the Manager, Transmission Operations & Maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering required.
• 5–8 years in utility Transmission Maintenance and Operations with supervisory experience.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and time-management skills.
• Strong project management skills; AI tools experience a plus; familiarity with NERC standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day O&M team activities including work orders, MARs, invoicing, coordination, and inventory management.
• Manages budgets of roughly $1M in admin and $27M+ in contracted spend; approves capital expenditures within limits.
• Develops and enforces section policies and safety/physical security standards.
• Represents MEAG Power on ITS groups and industry committees; ensures regulatory compliance.
