An opportunity is available for a Transmission Line Engineer to join a growing Power Delivery team within an established engineering organisation. This role is well suited to an engineer with solid transmission line design experience who is looking to take on greater responsibility within project delivery.

You will be involved in the design and execution of transmission line projects, contributing to technical development, coordination, and delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and lead technical delivery of transmission line design projects
• Ensure engineering outputs meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements
• Develop engineering solutions using sound technical judgement and design principles
• Prepare project plans, specifications, and technical documentation
• Conduct field investigations and support data collection activities
• Carry out design tasks related to transmission line engineering
• Collaborate with project teams to support scheduling and cost planning
• Participate in project meetings and client discussions
• Work under the guidance of senior engineers while developing technical capability
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and project delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transmission line design
• Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and holds EIT/EI certification
• Experience with PLS-CADD preferred
• Strong understanding of transmission line engineering principles
